THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 11 FINAL LIVE ONLINE TV 2010

“The Ultimate Fighter 11 Final” will be jumping off shortly from inside The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first preliminary bout is scheduled to start at approximately 6PM ET/3PM PT, with the Spike TV broadcast beginning at 9PM ET/PT.

Court McGee will battle Kris McCray to determine who takes home the TUF 11 crown and the highly coveted six-figure UFC contract. The middleweight contest was initially assigned co-main event duties, however it appears the organization has opted to promote the do-or-die scrap to the card’s featured attraction.

Opening for them will be a light heavyweight scrap between former TUF contestants Matt Hamill and Kieth Jardine.

The 33-year old former NCAA Division III wrestler trained under Tito Ortiz in the third season of The Ultimate Fighter, dropping Jesse Forbes via technical knock out to launch his career in the UFC. A string of four straight wins to open his professional career was ended when he lost by split decision to Michael Bisping via a heartbreaking split decision, however, only two fights later Hamill would fall via technical knock out to Rich Franklin, who ended their UFC 88 contest with a brutal liver kick early in the third round.

“The Hammer” has bounced back with three straight wins since the defeat at the hands of Franklin, including two knockout wins. Now, the man also known as, “The Golden Boy” will look to continue his ascent up the UFC Light Heavyweight division rankings with a fourth straight victory.

Leading Up To The Ultimate Fighter Finale 11: Keith Jardine

Despite his unorthodox fighting style, “The Dean of Mean” has enjoyed success in the UFC since his The Ultimate Fighter Two Finale win over Kerry Schall, although not much of it has come in recent fights. 13 wins through his first 16 bouts, including a knockout win over Forrest Griffin and wins by decision over Wilson Gouveia and Chuck Liddell, have been superceded by losses in five of Keith Jardine’s last seven fights.

Consecutive knockout losses at the hands of Thiago Silva and Ryan Bader have left Jardine reeling, and now he will need to rise to the occasion against Hamil to avoid losing four straight, and falling off the map in the UFC Light Heavyweight division.
